Talise Spa Introduces The Latest In The Visiting Masters Series

The award-winning Talise Spa, Madinat Jumeirah, announces the latest addition to the Visiting Masters Series adding to the resort’s existing holistic programmes.

Celebrated Buddhist yogi Winnie Rode will lead stimulating sound meditations and healing singing bowl journeys from 18 September until 12 October where guests can experience first-hand the guru’s techniques within a luxury environment.

Winnie Rode’s singing bowl sound therapy provides a sense of relaxation, physical wellbeing and serenity. These sessions have a soothing effect and can alleviate stress, burn-out, insomnia, joint and muscle pain, tinnitus, depression, and anger. The different sound waves produced by the bowls harmonize the brain and stimulate the body to rediscover its own frequency.

Adding another dimension to the spa’s holistic approach to wellness, 34th generation warrior monk Master Can returns to Talise Spa from the ancient Maling Shaolin Kung Fu Academy in China on 1 October, 2014. He will be available until 31 May, 2015 to instruct one-to-one private Kung Fu and Tai Chi classes, as well as group sessions for both adults and children.

Tai Chi can help reduce stress and is carried out in a graceful manner while practicing deep breathing. Kung Fu focuses on conditioning, flexibility and self-defence skills.
