• Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Centre For Cultural Understanding Honours DEWA For Sponsoringthe Holy Quran Competition

    Under the patronage and in the presence of HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the Emirate of Dubai, the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Centre for Cultural Understanding honoured the winners and of the Holy Qu'ran Competition.

    HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum honoured Dubai Electricity and Water Authority for being the main sponsor of the event. The award was presented in the presence of HE Ibrahim Bu Melha, Adviser of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Cultural Affairs and Chairman of the Organising Committee of the Dubai International Holy Qu'ran Award, and several other dignitaries.

    “Our sponsorship of this important event is in line with the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to support humanitarian and community initiatives and to place the highest priority to provide services related to the well-being, healthcare, education and family values of the people of Dubai to achieve their happiness,” said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA.

    “It also comes in line with our strategy to promote social responsibility through various programmes and activities to raise awareness within the community and enhance their interaction and cohesion. We take part in local and global initiatives campaigns and events to strengthen relations with all segments of society and support positive activities,” added Al Tayer.
