Dubai Marina Yacht Club receives prestigious 5 Gold Anchor Award

Dubai Marina Yacht Club, the luxurious leisure club under Emaar Hospitality Group, has been awarded with the prestigious '5 Gold Anchor Award,' equivalent to a five-star accreditation, and the highest ranking for marinas around the world.

Honoured by The Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA), the Marina Trade Association linked to the British Marine Federation (BMF), the Gold Anchor Awards are presented to marinas between ranges of one to five anchors, and are ranked based on service, quality, and facilities for berth holders.

The award recognises the club's guest engagement, facilities, and amenities available to berth holders, including service at the individual berths, and the unique service offerings available for visitors and members.

Dubai Marina Yacht Club is the port authority for all operations and berthing in the Dubai Marina canal, a 3.5-kilometre manmade waterway running through the prestigious Dubai Marina residential development.

With four unique marinas that span from the East to the West Bay, Dubai Marina Yacht Club has berths for over 500 yachts available for members, ranging from six to 40 metres in length, making the Dubai Marina Yacht Club, the largest marina in the GCC to achieve the honour.

Voted the 'Marina of the Year in the GCC' at the Boat Owner Awards earlier in the year, Dubai Marina Yacht Club is one of the few marinas in the world that has consistently focused on upholding the criteria for the '5 Gold Anchor Award.'

The club boasts an array of restaurant and lounge choices including Aquara, an award winning seafood restaurant and lounge; 25º55º - a relaxing café bistro; and YOTS Sports Lounge, home to a casual and entertaining environment. The ground floor opens out through a waterfront café onto a public boulevard called Marina Walk, which encircles the canal.
