• Aliens, Comedy, Magic And Fire Shows To Enthral Crowds At Dubai Marina Street Festival

    Comedy, magic, fire show, musical performances, aerial dance, juggling, balancing acts, bike show, and even Aliens, await visitors to Dubai Marina Mall! The popular lifestyle shopping destination of the Dubai Marina community, will soon host the fourth edition of the spectacular Dubai Marina Street Festival, to be held daily from 4 to 10pm, from April 3 to 12, 2014.

    Taking place at the Dome Atrium inside the mall and on the Promenade, Dubai Marina Street Festival is free of charge and will feature performances by international artists coming from Italy, France, Japan, Canada, UK, USA, and Netherlands, offering a fun carnival-like ambiance for the entire family.

Dubai Marina Street Festival will feature performances that appeal to all age-groups by showcasing the best in international street entertainment, circus and comedy.”

    The acts at the Street Festival include Andrea Farnetani, Italian comedian and specialist in juggling, mesmerising mimes and balancing acts using everyday objects like newspapers, cups, spoons and eggs. Originally from France, Ben Renard will impress the crowds with his swing and acrobatic bike skills.

    Billy Kidd, hostess of Discovery Channel’s popular series ‘Breaking Magic: The Magic of Science,’ will interact with the crowd and enthral visitors with her close up magic, stage show, and will even grace illusion-enthusiasts with a disappearing act. Brien Engel will be playing popular songs, Jazz and timeless pieces of Mozart and Beethoven on a collection of 50 drinking glasses, making it one of the largest glass harps in the world.

    Japanese artist Ryunosuke Yamazumi will offer acts of giant balls juggling and powerful Chinese pole performance, while Canadians Maryeve Gaudreau and Caroline Ouellet-Rochefort will bring their pyro, hoop, and aerial dancing skills to the stage guaranteeing to light-up Dubai Marina Mall. Finally, Aliens will grace visitors with their presence, with the street theatre group Close-Act’s first performance in Dubai, invading The Promenade of Dubai Marina with stunning giant mobile costumes.
