• Porsche Centre Dubai Tops Porsche Worldwide Dealer Ranking

Dubai dealer retains top status for ninth year with 1,892 cars sold

Porsche Centre Dubai, Al Nabooda Automobiles, has been identified as the luxury German sports car maker’s best-selling single dealer globally for the ninth consecutive year. The sole distributor for Porsche in Dubai sold 1,892 cars in 2013, 14 per cent more than in the previous year.

The premier Porsche dealership has enjoyed its position as the world’s best for almost a decade now, and with a new AED144 million 20,812 sqm showroom opening on Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed Road by the end of 2014, the team is certainly not resting on its laurels.

“Porsche Centre Dubai had a brilliant year in 2013 with double digit sales growth,” said K. Rajaram, Chief Executive Officer of Al Nabooda Automobiles. “We have been the world’s most successful Porsche dealer for the last nine years and the key to that success are the brand’s fantastic model line-up with benchmark-setting products made in Germany and our customer service.

“To maintain this position we must continue to build on the commitment to our customers. The future Dubai showroom and After Sales facility will provide the ideal platform to further showcase the Porsche brand and offer uncompromising service.”

Central to the success of Porsche Centre Dubai in 2013 was the relentlessly popular Cayenne, as sales of the athletic SUV grew more than 7 per cent year-on-year with 1,229 new car deliveries.

The iconic 911, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2013, saw demand increasing by 44 per cent, resulting in 261 units being sold.

The new Porsche Centre Dubai showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road is part of a large expansion plan that Al Nabooda Automobiles is currently undergoing across Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

This includes a brand new Fujairah showroom, which opened last month, combining Porsche with Al Nabooda Automobiles’ other licensed brands, Audi and Volkswagen as well as a new showroom and workshop facility in Sharjah, which is due to open next month (April 2014).

“We sell a high number of vehicles every year, so it’s essential to have the right infrastructure in place to service them and ensure our customers keep coming back,” added Rajaram.

“We have invested in new showrooms, workshops and after sales facilities in Dubai and across the northern emirates, but it pays back in the end with customer loyalty.”
