• Abdulla Al Masaood & Sons Group Partners With A-Map To Stock Solite Auto Batteries Across The UAE

Abu-Dhabi based Abdulla Al Masaood & Sons (AMS) Group has announced a partnership with A-MAP, the region’s top-selling auto parts dealer, to stock Solite batteries in its Emirates for Universal Tyres (EUT) service centres from February.

The deal will see products from the dependable Korean car battery manufacturer first introduced to EUT’s brand new Al Ain outlet, which is set to open in February 2014, providing users with a one-stop-shop for tyre and battery care.

In addition to EUT’s specialist tyre service such as tyre changing, wheel balancing, tyre rotation and puncture repair, the service centre’s staff will be extensively trained by Solite experts on the fitting of all battery models to ensure that customers receive the best service available.

Khalifa Al Masaood, Executive Director, AMS Group, comments: “The company has big plans for the further expansion of Emirates for Universal Tyres across the UAE, starting with the Al Ain service centre that will launch in February. We are therefore proud to have partnered with A-MAP to become official stockists of the reliable Solite battery brand going forward. Our aim is to provide the country’s discerning customers with the highest quality in tyre and general automotive servicing, so this deal represents a big step towards this, and we are looking forward to a successful on-going partnership with A-MAP.”

A-MAP became the exclusive distributor for Solite auto batteries in 2007, and the company’s Managing Director, Mr. Asad Badami, is excited by the new tie-up with Emirates for Universal Tyres: “We’re delighted that we can contribute to making the lives of vehicle owners that much easier, through this tie-up with Emirates Universal Tyres and their new service outlet in Al Ain. We are confident in the brands that we trade, and our partnership is testament to the excellent quality of the Solite brand of batteries.”

Solite batteries are installed in all factory assembled Hyundai and Kia vehicles all over the world, and feature an internal rust-free calcium metal, displaying excellent heat resistibility and strong immunity against extreme temperatures, making it well suited to the region.

Emirates for Universal Tyres is also the sole distributor of Continental Tires in the UAE, with an existing network of state-of-the-art service centres and warehousing facilities across the country, with plans to expand rapidly over the next few years.
