• Join Us At The ExpatWoman Education Fair

The annual ExpatWoman Education Fair is being held on Saturday 22nd February 2014 and is a free event perfect for parents, students and adults looking at exploring education opportunities available to them in the UAE and beyond. It will feature representatives from the many educational institutes covering nursery, primary, secondary and tertiary options, as well as adult education.

This event is always well attended, with parents having the opportunity to browse available options and discuss their interests and concerns, face to face with educational professionals representing a broad range of specialisms.

This year we have made the Education Fair an all-day event where you will find plenty to keep the children entertained including face painting and a bouncy castle. We will also have N_K_D pizza serving up their delicious and nutritious pizzas throughout the day. Our amazing crafters will be on hand serving up their intricate handicrafts and some delicious treats too.

Schools and education is always a key theme for Expat Woman readers and a popular forum topic for newcomers trying to find places for school age children and new mums assessing nurseries. Dubai has a wide range of choices at secondary level and the tertiary sector has grown in recent years; with much more choice available than residents are generally aware of.

There will be a wide range of primary and secondary schools exhibiting at the Fair representing the different approaches and curricula available. Parents and students will have the opportunity to talk to professionals from the many schools represented to research International versus British versus American curricula options and the implications of the choice on home schooling and further education paths.

We will have representatives from the various universities and colleges of Dubai there to discuss tertiary education opportunities, adult short courses will be featured too. Many parents need guidance with regards to private tutors and additional educational assistance. These institutions will also be on hand to provide their expert knowledge and advice.

It’s a one stop shop covering all your educational needs whatever stage you are at in life. Representatives from establishments such as Inspire Nursery, Willow Nursery, JESS, Foremarke School, GEMS, The Arabic Language Centre, Innoventures Education, K12 and Carfax Private Tutors to name but a few.

The ExpatWoman Education Fair is being held on February 22nd from 10am till 4pm in the Dubai International Marine Club in the Dubai Marina. There is no booking required and entry is free. Parking is available at the venue.
