Alfardan Premier Motors receives regional recognition at awards ceremony

Luxury automotive manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover recently recognised its Middle East and North Africa dealers for achievements in the fiscal year 2012-2013; presenting awards during the recent bi-annual marketing manager’s meeting held at the 5-star Grand Hyatt in Amman, Jordan.

Alfardan Premier Motors Co., the exclusive importer of Jaguar and Land Rover in Qatar, received two awards for ‘Best Experiential Event 2012/ 2013’ for the hugely successful Land Rover Ride and Drive Desert Event in Qatar and ‘Best Sponsored Event 2012/2013’ for the Qatar Total Open.

Speaking about the awards, Hannah Naji, Marketing Director Jaguar Land Rover MENA commented, “We have a very strong network of dealer partners across the region, and these awards recognise the important contribution they make to the success and future growth of the Jaguar Land Rover business in what is a key region for us globally.”

Over 100 Land Rover owners and guests took to the dunes for an expert-led desert drive followed by beachside family entertainment during the Alfardan Premier Motors Ride and Drive Desert Event. The event has become an annual outing on the Land Rover calendar with attendance numbers growing each year.

As part of its brand sponsorship activation, Alfardan Premier Motors partnered once again with the Qatar Total Open in February 2013 as the ‘Official Car’ for the prestigious event. Alfardan Premier Motors provided class and comfort to some of the world’s top tennis players for a third consecutive year by transporting them to and from the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in a fleet of over 40 vehicles.

Jaguar Land Rover dealers were awarded in respective categories based on criteria which included media interest in the event, the number of sales leads generated as a result of the partnership or event and the overall Return on Investment (ROI).
