• Jumeirah Creekside Appointed Official Hotel For 2013 Championships

    Organizers of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships have announced that the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel has been selected as the official hotel for the event, which takes place from 18 February to 2 March 2013. Owned by Dubai Duty Free and managed by the Jumeirah group, the five star Jumeirah Creekside opened on July 1st 2012.

    The tournament will welcome a stellar line up again this year, with 9 of the top ten women and 6 of the top ten men competing in Dubai, at what has become one of the most prestigious and popular tournaments on the ATP 500 tour.

    Executive Vice Chairman of tournament owners and organisers Dubai Duty Free, Colm McLoughlin said “We are delighted to be accommodating the world’s best players, WTA and ATP officials and international media in the new Jumeirah Creekside Hotel.     The hotel is a modern contemporary design and houses a specially commissioned art collection. It has five restaurants, and includes the newly renovated Aviation Club, where the player’s lounge will be located during the Championships.

    The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, which takes place from 18 February to 2 March, is owned and organised by Dubai Duty Free and held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

    Tickets for the event are on sale from the Box Office at the Dubai Tennis Stadium, Garhoud which is open from 9am to 9pm daily. Grandstand ticket prices range from 50dhs for opening rounds to 450dhs for finals, with season tickets also available.
