Year Of The Snake Festivities Kick Start At Mall Of The Emirates
Mall of the Emirates celebrated the Chinese New Year yesterday with an opening comprised of traditional Chinese entertainment including martial arts demonstrations and musical performances. The inaugural event that kicked off an 11-day festival to celebrate the Year of the Snake, was attended by Mr. Zhan Jingbao, Chinese Consul General in Dubai, the Chinese Women’s Association, Chinese businessmen in Dubai and senior management from Kempinski Mall of the Emirates and Majid Al Futtaim Properties, including Fuad Mansoor Sharaf, Senior Director, Asset Management – Shopping Malls for Majid Al Futtaim Properties.
Until February 20th, shoppers will have the unique opportunity to experience authentic Chinese culture at Mall of the Emirates. Daily entertainment performances on Centre Stage are scheduled from 3pm to 9pm, and include Chinese folk dance, drum show, calligraphy, Taiji boxing, Chinese Kung Fu and more.
