KidZaniaSuperstarZ - A Chance For Children To Shine

Children can share their artistic talent and win prizes with KidZania® SuperstarZ

Auditions until Feb. 15 with grand finale on March 1, 2013

The most exciting children’s talent search is here. KidZania®, the award-winning children’s edutainment centre managed by Emaar Retail LLC in The Dubai Mall, is hosting KidZania® SuperstarZ providing young visitors the platform to showcase their dancing, acting, singing or instrumental skills.

Auditions for KidZania® SuperstarZ will be held at KidZania® until Feb. 15, with the semi-finals on Feb. 22 & 23 and the grand finale on March 1, 2013. The participants will be divided into two age groups: 5 to 8 years old, and 9 to 16 years old. Supporters of the participants will be invited to the semi-finals and grand finale to join in the fun and cheer.

The grand finale will be hosted by celebrity Nitin Mirani and judged by Diana Haddad, and DJ Moe. Children will get the chance to win an array of prizes such as SONY XPERIA Tablets, beach balls, cake and ice cream vouchers from Baskin Robbins, gift hampers from Swiss Arabian Perfumes and Candelite, as well as gift vouchers from Air Miles.

Emaar Retail will bestow the title of ‘Emaar Prince’ or ‘Emaar Princess’ to the grand prize winners, offering several prizes such as a chance to invite their class mates to an ice-skating session at Dubai Ice Rink, a day of fun at SEGA Republic, a private movie screening at Reel Cinemas and the experience of being an Aquarist at the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo. Additionally, the lucky winners will receive from KidZania® a birthday celebration package, a VIP Visa for year-long access with their family and the chance to be one of the faces of KidZania®.

Emaar Hospitality Group will provide a family brunch at The Address Hotels + Resorts; Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club will offer a horse riding lesson; and Burj Khalifa will offer a trip to At the Top, Burj Khalifa with the KidZania® characters Urbano, Vita, Bache, Beebop and Chika. The lucky winners will also have the opportunity to launch one performance of The Dubai Fountain from its control centre.

Located on level 2 of The Dubai Mall, KidZania® lends wings to the dreams of the little ones, as they enact over 80 roles including that of pilots, doctors, healthcare professionals, civil defence personnel, police officers, reporters, photographers, engineers, fashion designers, and artists, among others.

KidZania® provides a safe, unique and very realistic educational environment that allows kids to do what comes naturally to them: role-playing by mimicking traditionally ‘adult’ activities. It features offices, a university, fire station, race track, radio station, pizzeria, hospital, bank, theatre, among others, all scaled down to a smaller, child-friendly size. Children dress up in real-life uniforms and perform realistic professional tasks in a fun and meaningful way.
