Dubai Delights Dutch Couple With Dubai Shopping Festival’s Triple Dose Of Shopping, Winning And Entertainment

The Manns praise the variety of entertainment and shopping options offered by the city and say they would love to visit again, even after the DSF

A Dutch couple spending their vacation in the city to coincide with the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) 2013 is delighted with the decision to choose Dubai as their holiday destination because of the “level of customer satisfaction that the city offers”.

Grant Mann, who is a social relations and human resources expert from Holland, and his wife both said they were glad to have visited Dubai during this vibrant time in the city’s annual calendar. While touring the Al Seef Street area, the Manns, who are on five-day visit to Dubai, said all events being held under DSF 2013 have one goal and that is to keep customers happy and build a lasting relationship with them.

“We went shopping right from the day we landed in the city and we have not stopped since,” Mann said. “We are delighted at how the streets and shopping malls are filled with joy and decorated for the event. Shopping in Dubai is amazing as there are a variety of brands from all over the world and the DSF discounts, promotions and offers are simply great.”

Mann said they came to Al Seef Street after hearing that it had another side of the festival to present with activities such as the DSF Carnival, the World of Souvenirs, the fireworks and others. “This is another great source of enjoyment that we encountered in Dubai. While the shopping is what you think of first when you come to the DSF, such fun activities really add spice to the experience and it seems the whole city is a giant carnival ground with so many different things going on simultaneously,” Mann said.

Mrs. Mann chipped in: “We went shopping to The Dubai Mall and were amazed by the brands. We were also amazed by the Burj Khalifa. The huge discounts and promotions were delightful, too. We also went to Mirdif City Center and loved all the shows. Our visit to Mercato was a great experience as well and its shows and beautiful architecture and decoration really took us by surprise.”

Would they come back to the city for a future edition of the DSF? The chorused answer was a resounding yes. “Not only for a future DSF, I’d like to visit Dubai at other times of the year as well,” added Grant Mann. DSF 2013 seems to have definitely made more fans for the city by presenting “Dubai at its Best”!
