Another Dollar Millionaire Steps Out Of Dubai Duty Free

Dubai Duty Free’s Millennium Millionaire promotion, now in its fourteenth year, continues to attract world-wide attention and provide excitement for those who win.

Mr. Muhammad Naveed, a British national living in Abu Dhabi received a very fortunate call from Dubai Duty Free, informing him that his ticket no. 3009 in Series 138 was drawn earlier this morning in Concourse C, Dubai International Airport.
Mr. Naveed, who works for Mubadala GE Capital bank, is the 10th British national to win a million dollars in the Millennium Millionaire promotion and was understandably in total shock when he first heard about his win.

Commenting on his initial reaction to the news, the lucky winner said: “I am extremely happy to have finally won with Dubai Duty Free. This will certainly change my life and I am delighted to call myself a lucky person. My win makes me feel more secure and my family and I will definitely spend it wisely”.

Following the draw, a presentation was made to two previous Millennium Millionaire winners, Mr. Abdul Salam, an Indian national living in Dubai and Mr. Chanaka Dayananda, a Sri Lankan national who also resides in Dubai. Abdul and Chanaka won their million dollar prizes in Series 136 with ticket no. 0579 and Series 137 with ticket no. 2814 respectively.

Mr. Abdul Salam who recently got married, purchased his winning ticket along with his ten colleagues who work as drivers at GEMS Education and Mr. Dayananda shared his winning ticket along with his eleven colleagues from Country Hill International.

Dubai Duty Free conducted its Finest Surprise Draw directly after the Millennium Millionaire and announced two lucky winners of luxury vehicles.

Two years old baby girl from Dubai, Ms. Eliza Merchant won the top of the range sport McLaren MP4 12C Coupe in Series 1513 with ticket no. 1867.

Because of her age, little Eliza doesn’t realize the luck she brought to her family. Eliza’s father, Nadeem Merchant, an Indian national was thrilled to hear the news and commented on the phone: “I’ve been trying my luck for so many years purchasing tickets in Dubai Duty Free promotions but never won. I’m delighted that my baby girl proved to be more lucky than I am and won the car I’ve ever dreamed about!”

Finally, a Ducati Superbike 848 EVO in Series 204 with ticket no. 0200 was won by Mr. John Mathew Scurr, a New Zealander living in Nelson city on the eastern shores of Tasman Bay.
