Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) Shopping Brings Pakistani National A Nissan

Shopping during DSF is not only exciting but can be highly rewarding as well, as Ali Abbas Naqvi, a Pakistani national, found out recently.

Ali was the lucky winner of the Nissan Grand Raffle that was held on 22nd January, as part of the daily DSF Mega Raffle series that continues to change the lives of individuals and families visiting Dubai during the festival.

Ali, a resident of Dubai for the past five years, believes that it was his 4-year old daughter Eman and not he who is responsible for bringing home such a windfall.

“Just after I filled my coupon my daughter took it from me to drop it into the raffle drum. She is used to doing this as we have been participating in several DSF raffles for a long time. All of us have been praying for this moment including my daughter, so we are firstly thankful to Allah for showering us with this great gift”, said Ali, who is employed in the banking sector.

Ali and his daughter had been shopping in Ibn Battuta Mall along with his wife, Nadia and her father, who is currently visiting them during DSF. After finishing their DSF shopping they received a coupon to enter the Nissan Grand Raffle draw.

“When I received the call informing me that I had won, all of us could not believe it. But when we eventually realised this was true, our joy knew no bounds. Now I can look forward to giving my daughter a great education”, said Ali, who got the Nissan Altima as his prize.

His wife, Nadia pointed out that her father had been working in Dubai for several years before he returned home with her mother, and that it was a happy coincidence that the good luck came when he happened to be visiting Dubai. On behalf of her entire family she expressed her profound thanks to Dubai and Dubai Shopping Festival for providing them with such a bonanza.

The daily Nissan Grand Raffle gives lucky customers the chance to choose from one of 12 Nissan models - Micra Hatchback, Sunny Sedan, Maxima, Qashqai, Murano, Patrol, Juke, Altima, 370Z, Xterra, Pathfinder, or Armada – as their prize at the daily draw that is held at Global Village. Customers are entitled to a raffle coupon for every AED 20 spent on non-fuel purchases at ENOC and EPPCO petrol stations or for every AED 200 spent at participating retail outlets.
