Dubai Recorded a new number in the Guinness Book

Grand Belle Vue Hotel Dubai participating with 17 chefs in the new world record

The Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing and Emirates Culinary Guild Sets a record in crowd 2847 and Broke Guinness Records on 4th January 2013. The Record Breaking was Part of the Launch of the Emirati Cuisine Initiative; this was the first of many Events to bring the Emirati Cuisine closer to the Residents of UAE on 4th January 2013 commemorating HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum for becoming a ruler of Dubai.

The Plan was to break the First Record by Gathering more than 2112 Chefs in Uniforms at Meydan Race Course. And they Invited all Chefs and Cooks from UAE who work in Hotels, Restaurants, Catering Companies, Clubs or Private Homes. Chef Uwe Micheel President Emirates Culinary Guild and Director of Kitchens Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Deira Creek said: wethank you all chefs and cooks for coming and joining us. we requested the Residents to bring the Chefs from Private Homes to join as well. It was a great Chance to meet so many Colleagues from Different Countries.

The Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing in collaboration with Emirates Culinary Guild was launching Emirati Cuisine the initiative on 4th January 2013, as we commemorate H.H Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum when he became a Ruler of Dubai.

Grand Belle Vue Hotel Dubai was part of this legendary national initiative program and participating with 17 chef’s to break the first Guinness World Records
