• Kidzania Adds Yokohama Tyres To Its Family Of Partners, Offering Children A New Learning Experience

KidZania®, the award-wining edutainment centre managed by Emaar Retail LLC in The Dubai Mall, has welcomed Yokohama Tyres, the leader in technology and innovation for high performance tyres, as a strategic partner for the Race Track.

Offering children fresh perspectives on the automobile sector, the addition of Yokohama Tyres reflects KidZania®’s appeal as a strategic choice for companies looking for innovative marketing platforms.

Yokohama Tyres at KidZania® strengthens children’s awareness about tyre maintenance and safety measures through fun and exciting activities such as performing tyre check-ups prior to races. The Yokohama Race Track is revamped to be more dynamic and attractive, and educates the little professionals with live events and interactive shows.

Arif Amiri, Chief Executive Officer, Emaar Retail LLC said: “KidZania® promotes the physical and intellectual growth of children through professional role-plays, and has an assortment of establishments covering the entire fabric of the economy. We continuously seek new partners to enrich the learning experiences awaiting our young visitors. Alongside this, we simultaneously offer an effective marketing channel for companies to position their brands effectively to a growing audience of influencers.”

Hassan El Haj, General Manager, Tyres Division, Juma Al Majid Group said: “Our partnership with KidZania® Dubai is a testament to our enduring dedication to safety and education to our children in the UAE. With KidZania®, our goals are not only about increasing the awareness and perception of Yokohama Tyres as a brand, but also prompting proper tyre maintenance and safety through an interactive and fun learning experience which our children will benefit from in their future.”

KidZania® provides a safe, unique and very realistic educational environment that allows kids to do what comes naturally to them: role-playing by mimicking traditionally ‘adult’ activities. It features offices, university, fire station, race track, radio station, pizzeria, hospital, bank, theatre, among others, all scaled down to a smaller, child-friendly size. Children dress up in real-life uniforms and perform over 80 realistic professional tasks in a fun and meaningful way.
