Atlantis, The Palm To Introduce Exciting New Rides And Slides At Aquaventure In 2013

New Technology, New Slides, New Water Thrills-Revolutionary Water Play!

Atlantis - the flagship resort on The Palm - continues to wow guests and give them the chance to discover something new with the expansion of Aquaventure. Already the largest waterpark in the region, guests and visitors alike will be able to start enjoying the new experiences in 2013.

Every aspect of Atlantis involves a sense of discovery and has been designed to ignite one’s imagination and Aquaventure is no exception. The waterpark currently features 18 million litres of fresh water powering seven thrilling waterslides, a 2.3 kilometre river ride with tidal waves and pools, water rapids and white water chargers, not to mention the 700 metres of white sand beach overlooking The Palm. Guests can also feed Cownose Rays, dive in a shark-infested lagoon or explore the depths on a Shark Safari.

In this new phase of development, a new 40 metre high waterslide tower will loom over the existing Ziggurat, as well as the expansive lagoons of Dolphin Bay. Courage will be tested on new thrill rides unveiling cutting edge technology with never seen before surprises. Adventure seekers will test their limits, while those looking for a shared journey will be able to enjoy with friends and family. This non-stop water play will add an extreme level of excitement to the overall Aquaventure experience.
