Deira City Centre To Create A World Of Candy Adventure This DSS
Candy-themed entertainment and kids arts & crafts, a treat for the family
Deira City Centre is going super sweet this summer by hosting a Candy World Adventure during Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS). Complete with candy- themed arts and crafts workshops, live entertainment shows and a marching parade, families visiting the mall this summer will be transported to a dream world full of sweets and treats for all ages.
The Candy World journey begins June 25th until July 6th, during which kids can take part in candy-themed creative arts and crafts workshops at Centre Stage. The interactive sessions will be 12pm to 9pm Sunday – Tuesday and 12pm to 6pm Wednesday – Saturday. Special extended workshops will be July 5th and 6th from 12pm to 9pm. Children can stop by the event to make their very own sweet-toothed keepsakes or satisfy their candy craving with free treats given away at Centre Stage.
From June 27th – 30th and July 3rd – 4th, “Lollypopcorn Town” will be performing a live song and dance show and interacting with the crowd to make for a high energy experience. Shoppers can get to know the characters during the parade on July 1st – 2nd at 6pm, 7:30pm, and 9pm. The bright and colourful show will take families on a journey to an extraordinary place full of candy themed escapades and whimsical activities. Fireball, the Deira City Centre Mascot, will also be onsite to participate in the fun-filled days.

The joyful spirits will also extend beyond DSS this year when remaining treats are given away to a local charity.”
This year’s Candy World Adventure promises to be the sweetest DSS activity yet. Giant lollipops hanging from the branches of a life-size candy tree on display will be given away to Dubai Autism Center and Dubai Foundation for Women and Children charity post DSS, to extend Deira City Centre’s appreciation for everyone in the community and bring a smile to children’s faces.
Throughout DSS, shoppers at the mall can also take advantage of exciting sales and try their chances at winning 100 Gold Coins daily by spending AED 300 on the same day.
