HRH Princess Haya Inaugurates Beijing TongRenTang Clinic At Dubai Healthcare City

Chairperson of Dubai Healthcare City Authority HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, wife of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, today inaugurated the region’s first TongRenTang Clinic in the heart of the emirate’s Dubai Healthcare City.

Prior to the opening ceremony, Deyuan Wei, the mastermind behind the Dubai facility, spoke about the realisation of a dream she has nurtured for many years. “It is such an honour for us to have HRH Princess Haya’s support for the opening of our first clinic in the Gulf. We are very excited to be in Dubai Healthcare City; the various teams at DHCC have been instrumental in making our dream a reality. They have guided us through the formalities and enabled everything to come together smoothly, allowing us to achieve what we have,” said Wei.

“As a Chinese national, I have had the good fortune of growing up with TongRenTang and have firsthand experience of the wonders of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) from a very early age. So it is with great excitement that I bring this special science to the residents of the UAE and surrounding GCC countries,” Wei continued.

The clinic is strategically situated in the heart of DHCC and boasts state-of-the-art facilities with an in-house pharmacy and retail outlet offering a full range of traditional Chinese medicinal products. The team of professional doctors, pharmacists and eminent physicians from the TongRenTang dynasty hold both a Chinese and UAE physician’s license and are accredited members of TCM professional bodies such as the World Acupuncture Organisation.
