• Al Bateen Executive Airport’s DhabiJet named second best FBO in the world

    Al Bateen Executive Airport, operated and managed by Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), announced today that its Fixed Based Operator (FBO) facility – DhabiJet; was ranked second best around the world in the prestigious European Business Air News magazine FBO Survey 2013.

    Up from fourth place last year, 35,000 of the magazine’s aircraft owners and readers voting online and via printed questionnaire, put Al Bateen’s DhabiJet FBO in second place ahead of many bigger, and long established international brands. The survey received votes for a total of 328 facilities in Europe, the Middle East, Russia and Africa ranking DhabiJet the best FBO in the Middle East Region.

    In celebration of this achievement, H.E. Ali Majed Al Mansouri, Chairman of ADAC, said: “For the second year running, DhabiJet was ranked on the top 5 list of premier FBOs around the world. This is an accolade for ADAC and the entire team at Al Bateen marking their continuous efforts and commitment to provide the highest levels of FBO services to visiting aircraft, passengers and crew.”

    Al Bateen’s accomplishment follows a record year for 2012, which saw an 11% increase in overall commercial aviation movements compared with 2011.
