ORLOV To Exhibit Collection Of Million Dollar Diamonds In Abu Dhabi

Haute-jewellery designer to launch 60-piece precious gemstone and diamond summer collection for the first time in Middle East at Abu Dhabi Jewellery & Watch Show

ORLOV jewellery is set to launch its latest multi-million dollar summer collection of 60 precious gemstones and diamond pieces, at this year’s international jewellery and watch show, which takes place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre on 14 to 18 March 2013.

Based in London, ORLOV jewellery designs and manufactures high-end jewellery specialising in precious gemstones including emeralds, rubies and sapphires as well as rare diamonds, providing a unique combination of everlasting beauty and character.

The ORLOV family business, which was founded in 2010, is run by husband and wife team, Christian and Angela Orlov. Christian Orlov has over 20 years of experience in the diamond and precious gemstone business and travels around the world, selecting only the finest precious gems and diamonds.

“All of our diamonds in our collection are D to F colour and VVS or better in clarity, single diamonds mostly D colour, IF clarity and GIA certified. Our emeralds come from Columbia and our rubies and blue sapphires mainly from Burma,” said Christian Orlov.

The precious gemstones are carefully selected and meticulously set by Italian master jewellers. Finely-honed technique and traditional craftsmanship are combined with the utmost attention to detail to produce modern classic pieces of high-end jewellery.
Angela Orlova, a graduate of the State University of St. Petersburg in Russia, the Sotheby’s and Christie’s institutes of art in London always wanted to incorporate her love for art with her interest in fashion. Designing jewellery accommodated both of those passions.

“Our designs are inspired by ancient cultures like Roman, Indian and Arabic, Byzantine and Persian. We believe that not only will the designs be a huge success here in the UAE, the exclusivity is also something that we know from experience will appeal to jewellery lovers throughout the region,” said Angela Orlova.
To celebrate the launch of its summer collection in Dubai, ORLOV is also organising an invitation only VIP reception at the Dubai World Cup at Meydan on 30 March 2013, where guests will have the chance to view the summer collection in private.
Selected Orlov jewellery creations are available at the Ferret jewellery shop in the Hotel de Paris in Monaco.
