ADCB Facilitates Contributions To Help Preserve The UAE Environment Through ADCB ATM Donation Drive

ADCB ATM users helped to raise over AED 56,000 through ADCB ATM donations

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank “ADCB” announced today that it will continue to support the Emirates Wildlife Society in association with WWF (EWS-WWF) in its mission to conserve the environment of the UAE. ADCB will continue to dedicate its ATM screens to raising funds for EWS-WWF. The donation screen will alternate between the Red Crescent and EWS-WWF on a monthly basis.

The initiative has been well received by ADCB ATMs users as with their generous donations, the bank was able to facilitate raising over AED 56,448 during November and December 2012. The second cycle for EWS-WWF has started on the 18th January and will run until the end of February to resume in April for another month. ADCB customers will be given the opportunity to donate a dirham after each transaction they make through ADCB ATMs across the country.

On this occasion, Majdi Abd El Muhdi, Head of Corporate Communications at ADCB said: “Firstly, we would like to thank our ADCB ATMs users for their generous contributions; it is our privilege to be in a position to help conserve and protect the natural environment for current and future generations.”

ADCB’s ATM donation drive comes in line with its commitment towards raising awareness of, and funds for important issues affecting the natural UAE environment and the community in which we live.
