• Emirate Competencies Promoted For Leadership Positions In Sharjah Ladies Club

    Sharjah Ladies Club announced a number of promotions on several leadership positions in various departments, under the management of SLC director Khawla Al Serkal, in order to give reliable competencies in leading various departments under complete professionalism and dedication.

    This decision came as part of the efforts to implement the vision of Her Highness wife of Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qassimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Ladies Club and Supreme Council for Family Affairs, to encourage women’s competencies with highly developed visions in all fields to manage various leadership positions, and receiving satisfactory results in the services and departments through precise use of available human resources.

    Alya Al Harmoudi was promoted to Head of Business Management. A Business Management graduate with a Higher Diploma from the Higher Colleges of Technology in Sharjah, Alya joined Shajah Ladies Club in June 2009 and has managed to contribute significantly in co-founding the Business Management Department and transforming it to become one of the most vital departments in assuring business growth and continuity.  Alya has capitalized on her previous experience in the Sales Department in Etisalat to incorporate new ideas and ways of working in her role with SLC.

    On the other hand, Ameera Al Jariri was promoted to Events & Public Relation Manager, an Information Technology Graduate of Zayed Universit, Al Jariri previously held several positions in the Corporate Communication Department, starting off as a Web Developer, then Marketing Executive and a PR Supervisor through which she managed to establish corporate relationships with various sectors including governmental and private sectors. Al Jariri was able to coordinate with many entities to create successful memorandum of understandings. Moreover, Al Jariri also took part in various campaigns and volunteering for events in Sharjah.

    Also, Souad Saleem Al Marri was promoted to Media & advertising Manager, a Communication and Media Sciences Graduate of Zayed University with Academic Excellence, Al Marri held several positions in the club, starting off as a Media Executive, then a Media Supervisor through which she manages to set and implement media and advertising strategic plans for various events and campaigns on local and national levels. Al Marri also managed in overseeing media relations efficiently in the last period. Moreover, Al Marri participated in several events and campaigns such as Dubai Film Festival and Pink Caravan.

    On another hand, the Corporate Communication Department witnessed a number of promotions and restructuring, where Mariam Al Salman was promoted to Sales & Sponsorship Supervisor, a Business Administration and Marketing Graduate of Higher Colleges of Technology – Sharjah Women’s College. Whereas, Alya Al Hajji was promoted to Senior Events Executive, after previously holding the Events Executive position. Al Hajji is a Communication, Media and Human relations graduate of Ajman University. Moreover, the events & public relations sections were joined to be under one roof.

    On this occasion, Khawla Al Serkal, Director of SLC assured the club’s constant concentration in promoting competencies and positioning them in leadership and managerial positions. This is to implement the vision of Her Highness in pushing and encouraging talented and outstanding Emirati workforce in holding official and formal positions.

    The promotions and developments came under the constant interest of the club in its employees in all aspects in expressing appreciation through various ways. Providing a safe environment and encouraging employees taking the lead and highlighting the Emirate workforce in pushing the development of the organization forward.
