’’As we are open to this world and are part of it, capable of being effective and interactive positively and negatively, our wise government has long ago set sight on protecting the environment ’&’ developing natural resources, and worked on striking a balance between the environmental requirements and the rational usage of existing resources as well as comprehensive development of all fields. Consequently, we have succeeded in coping with those challenges and the UAE today ranks among the active countries in the field of energy and sustainability projects worldwide.

Hence there is every need for identifying the possible means and mechanisms leading to efficient use of power. We have also got to raise the community and public awareness such that it will become a national and community culture that enables us to conserve resources, rationalize power consumption; which we are hoping to achieve through his Forum. We are also aspiring to come up with valuable findings about the methodology of sustainable environment, reduced power consumption, and evidence based management.
