DAFZ Promotes Local Cultural To International Tenants
Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZA) provided tenants with a taste of the local culture recently during a tour in Bur Dubai’s Bastakiya, one of the oldest Emirati neighborhoods in Dubai, before visiting the Sheikh Mohammed Center for Cultural Understanding.
Twenty DAFZA tenants were accompanied by the Freezone’s directors and managers, experiencing local cuisine and chatting to local hosts about UAE culture, customs and religion.
"The culture in the UAE is an inherent part of doing business here," said Shujoon Al Gergawi, Director of Customer Operations, who accompanied the tour. "As part of the DAFZA service, helping our tenants to understand the cultural environment they are working in just as important of the company’s registrations we provide assistance with."
Strategically located next to Dubai International Airport, the Freezone is home to a total of 1,600 tenants from a range of industries and geographies.
