DAFZA plants a Union Tree on the occasion of UAE’s 41st National Day
Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZA) officials, Dubai Customs and a large number of employees headed by Dr. Mohammed Al Zarooni, Director General of DAFZA, planted a "Union Tree" in front of DAFZA’s head office today, on the occasion of the UAE’s 41st National Day. DAFZA joined the initiative of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to sow the seeds of unity in the nation.
"Planting a ’Union Tree’ is an expression of gratitude to our nation, gracious leaders, and our country’s founding fathers, including the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who established a solid foundation for the UAE moving forward," Dr. Al Zarooni said. "We will continue to build our country and keep it prosperous, working towards a brighter future for the generations to come".
The planting of the tree took place amongst festivities that reflected the inspirational concept of the Union. Employees demonstrated their love of the country and loyalty towards its rulers as they made strides towards the future of the nation.
Dr. Al Zarooni confirmed that this initiative accompanies DAFZA’s vision to instil the love of the UAE among the hearts of its employees.
