TRA Co-Sponsors Global Federation Of Competitiveness Council’s Annual Innovation Summit 2012
The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has been named as an official ‘Co-Sponsor’ of the Global Federation of Competitiveness Council’s (GFCC) Annual Innovation Summit 2012. The Emirates Competitiveness Council (ECC) is hosting the occasion from the 27th -29th November under the theme ‘Innovation Capacity Building.’
“The TRA is proud to offer its support to this year’s Innovation Summit.,” said H.E. Mohamed Nasser Al Ghanim, TRA Director General. “As governments from across the globe can attest, the capacity for innovation is often the primary catalyst for sustainable economic growth. Events such these are critical if we are to realize the immense potential of the industry. Government, business and international partners all share the responsibility of promoting innovation and creating the necessary conditions to enable new industries to rise more easily,” he added.
The Address Hotel in Downtown Dubai is the setting for the first two days of the summit before delegates move onto Abu Dhabi on the third. Whilst in the capital, the 150 international representatives will attend a number of meetings and tours to showcase the city’s state-of-the-art innovation facilitates.
