Gasping
The comedy by Ben Elton revolves around Sir Chiffley Lockheart, who is looking for a way to make money where no money existed before. His workaholic executive, Philip, comes up with the idea of selling designer air. They see this as the marketing coup of the decade and expect to make millions. However, supplies run low and the Third World is plundered for its resources. The world starts gasping and only the biggest "suckers" survive. Gasping is a morality play and sharp-witted satire on the heartlessness of the business world - a timely piece that is sure to entertain.
