Nikon Photographic Extravaganza
The Nikon Photographic Extravaganza is a photographic exhibition and competition for prizes judged by an award winning British photographer, Roger Payling. The exhibition is open to both students and adults, and there are three categories for the competitions: Open, Creative and Student. The Open Category will be judged on composition, use of light, technical abilities and aesthetic quality. In the Creative Category the judges will look for creative techniques, either in the camera, computer or darkroom. The Student Category is for students 18 or under on the day of the competition. Prizes include cash, new Nikon cameras and more. This event is organized by Dubai International Art Centre and sponsored by Nikon.
Forms for participation in the competition are available now from the Art Centre. Acceptance of pictures will be Monday 14th November.
The Photographic Extravaganza will continue until Sunday 27th November.
